Tamasha la Kiswahili and Special Visit

MS TCDC in partnership with BAKITA hosted Swahili and culture festival as the part of diversifying Swahili language and Tanzanian culture. This was three days gathering named Tamasha la Kitaifa la Kiswahili na Utamaduni which took place from 12th to 13th of September 2019 at MS TCDC Usa-River, Arusha, Tanzania.

This event brought together more than four hundred 400 participants across East Africa for presentation discussions on different topics concerning Swahili language and culture. Tanzania Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Doctor Harrison Mwakyembe was invited as the guest of honour.

CAC was invited to do two performances. The opening performance in the morning which was a dance drama and a traditional dance performance in the evening. The audience loved both performances.

On Friday 13 September 2019 honorouble Minister of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Doctor Harrison Mwakyembe visited our Centre. We toured him around the Centre, did a mini performance and of course took a group photo. It was a lovely day.
